Rest in Peace, Al Davis (July 4, 1929-October 8, 2011)
I’m hoping this team plays some crazy inspired football in your memory these next 13 weeks.
Noticing some 49ers fans talk a slew of shit on my Facebook feed, I have to vent that it truly is amusing how “salty” some 49ers fans are toward the Raiders considering that:
- The 49ers don’t play in the same division or conference
- The 49ers have two more Super Bowl titles, and
- The 49ers haven’t sniffed the aforementioned Super Bowl in the past decade.
It’s not my fault that the 49ers play in the NFC West, which is quite possibly a “traveshamockery” (or the closest thing to an abortion) of a division. The Arizona Cardinals are the band that was a complete one-hit wonder (Super Bowl XLIII). Pete Carroll will go back to being a coach in the Pac-12 in a few years - if not, months - where he belongs. And the Rams? Stephen Jackson is the only thing more fragile than LeBron James’ ego (and receding hairline).
